Sanding machine and patented spraying machine for bodywork builders and paint shops

MPOmatic in Deurne develops automation applications that enable spraying processes within the bodywork construction industry to run more efficiently. This innovative company came to us with a question that was right up our alley: how can you make the process of applying paints and primers more efficient? The result was the development of an automatic sanding machine and an automatic sprayer that is unique in Europe.

The sanding and spraying equipment that we built for MPOmatic can best be compared to a car wash. You drive an aluminium trailer inside. It is then automatically scanned and measured and then completely sanded or laminated.

The next step is to prime and/or paint the sanded surfaces. These are scanned again, after which the operator can apply a pre-weighed quantity of paint to the machine. This paint is then applied by the sprayer.

MPOmatic's sanding and spraying machines are multi-patented and can be fully integrated into an existing or new spray booth or production line. Daily practice shows that the automation of the spraying process reduces paint consumption. And therefore also the burden on the environment.

The sprayer is approved by the international health and safety authorities and is both ATEX and TÜV certified.
